چکیده
Trimalleolar fractures are disabling injuries if not managed properly. Clinical and functional outcomes oftrimalleolar fracture worse as compared to bimalleolar involving the posterior malleolus. Various surgical approaches techniques reduce fix these described in literature. In this case study of 11 patients with trimalleolar fractures, a posterolateral approach was used for fixation malleolus well lateral all cases. the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Background: Displaced fractures of radius and ulna bones in adults are usually treated with open reduction and internal fixation. The purpose of this research was to access functional outcome of these fractures. Materials and Methods: In this research 52 Patients who underwent ORIF with DCP 3.5 in past 5 years were investigated. Post-operation protocol was one week immobilization and then acti...
متن کاملComparison of Clinical, Functional, and Radiological Outcomes of Total Knee Arthroplasty Using Conventional and Patient-Specific Instrumentation
Background: Recently, patient-specific instrumentation (PSI) systems have been developed in order to increase theaccuracy of component positioning during total knee arthroplasty (TKA); however, the findings of previous studies arecontroversial in this regard. In the current randomized clinical study, the outcomes of computer tomography (CT)-basedPS (patient specific)-guided TK...
متن کاملPlate fixation versus intramedullary fixation for midshaft clavicle fractures: Meta-analysis of complications and functional outcomes
OBJECTIVE This analysis critically compares publications discussing complications and functional outcomes of plate fixation (PF) versus intramedullary fixation (IF) for midshaft clavicle fractures. METHODS Relevant studies published between January 1990 and October 2014, without language restrictions, were identified in database searches of PubMed®, Medline®, Embase and the Chinese National K...
متن کاملLong-term Results, Functional Outcomes and Complications after Open Reduction and Internal Fixation of Neglected and Displaced Greater Tuberosity of Humerus Fractures
Background: Humerus fractures include 5% to 8% of total fractures. Non-union and delayed union of GT (GT) fractures is uncommon; however they present a challenge to the orthopedic surgeons. Significant controversy surrounds optimal treatment of neglected fractures. The purpose of this article was to perform a comparative study to evaluate the outcomes of open reduction and internal fixatio...
